The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course, as defined by the UK's Health and Safety Executive (HSE), equips individuals to provide urgent first aid in instances of injury or illness in the workplace.
This course covers a narrower range of topics compared to the Full First Aid at Work (FAW) course. It is structured to empower trainers to competently handle emergency health situations or to act as substitutes when a fully trained FAW individual is not available.
